Functions of EndChain
But first before we can start .. What is EndChain?
Logistical Solution For all MarketsEndChain is a patent-pending blockchain utility company that is focused on bringing mass adoption of blockchain tracking to all markets. Our patent-pending QR and barcode combination allows EndChain to have 2 distinct advantages in this market: integration and price. Existing logistics companies and manufacturers see the benefit in blockchain tracking, but are hesitant to revamp multi-million dollar systems. EndChain allows corporations to easily extract both the generic barcode data and the item-specific blockchain QR code data at the same time. As EndChain's program will be running in the background of existing systems, our combination code will be easily identified by our program and the generic data will be entered into legacy systems for traditional logistics and manufacturers. Simultaneously, the blockchain will be updated with the item-specific blockchain data. EndChain brings blockchain benefits at a fraction of the cost to all products. The vast majority of solutions in the market rely on NFC chips or manual entry of data into the blockchain. EndChain will create an API that allows corporations to automatically generate and update the blockchain as well as print our codes directly on their packages, thus drastically reducing the price. This will allow low to mid-cost goods, such as organic food, to become blockchain enabled products. AI and Big Data: Our team will leverage their experience in AI and big data by integrating both with EndChain. AI will be used to detect and alert any attempt to copy our codes. This will be done via parameters such as: locations the code is scanned, number of times a code is scanned, etc. Big data will focus on the data gathered by manufacturers and logistics companies to best help them optimize their platforms.
Function of EndChain
Base Idea
Logistics costs as a percentage of sales are very high, blockchain can help reduce this burden. The base idea is to provide a blockchain that is responsible for all logistic based data across the supply chain. By using a uniform blockchain, businesses can more easily adapt and communicate with one another by using the same data and system. One especially unique part of EndChain is that all products will have a patent pending barcode and QR combination attached. This patent pending item will allow both users and businesses to use the chain with ease.
1). The first major benefit is to reduce confusion among logistics providers. Nowadays, it is not unusual for packaging to have a barcode and 2-3 QR codes attached. This can prove to be confusing for workers in the logistics industry as they must know which code to scan for each item. Scanning a package is not a time consuming process, however, adding the need to determine which code to scan can double this time. This means that employees are half as productive as they could be. With only 1 easy to read code available, workers will know exactly where to scan.
2). The second benefit is the code will update both the blockchain and legacy systems at the same time. Once the EndChain program program reads the code, it will update the blockchain as well as legacy programs. Asking a logistics corporation to completely change their current inventory method is not feasible, so EndChain has designed a method to be easily integrated with existing systems. For those B2C stores with only a barcode scanner, the barcode will still be readable to a barcode scanner.
Along with the patent pending barcode and QR code combo, there will be a program built to help facilitate the use of EndChain. All businesses which use the EndChain software will be able to identify themselves as producers, transportation, B2B or B2C store. Once the software is installed and adjusted to the right settings, employees simply need to scan the code. A simple scan will break down both the generic barcode and the individualized QR code. The software will automatically update the chain with the new data that can be seen by all users.
Production Phase
There is a misconception that only high end goods have counterfeits, but this is not true. Market places have been rocked by scandals from fake organic produce to fake eggs. In order to protect both consumers and manufacturers, products must be able to be tracked from its point of inception to its final destination. In order to do this, all goods will be scanned at the point of manufacture with each item assigned its individual chain identifier. This will provide the basis for the other layers of tracking presented with EndChain.
Moving into the Transit Phase
As items are being set to move out from their initial locations, items will be scanned and moved to boxes. The first step will be to scan the code on the box. This code is not to be confused with the code on individual items. These codes will be labeled in the system as transportation packages and refer to a batch of goods in transit. As items are placed into the box, their individual codes will be scanned and automatically registered with the code on the outside of the box. This will link all the products inside the box with the one code located outside. When the last item is placed into the transportation package, the same scanner can be used to scan the next box code. The system will recognize that a new transit code has been scanned, which will automatically close the last chain, allowing new items that are scanned to be registered with the new transportation chain.
Transit Phase
The transit layer is focused on corporate responsibility rather than consumer tracking. At the transit phase, EndChain is used to better ensure responsibility and combat theft. As shipments are sent through distribution and processing centers, the transportation code will be scanned. It will then keep track of items as they move throughout the distribution process until its final destination. Barcodes located on the outside box can be programmed to then update the corresponding item’s chains that are located within the same box automatically.
Consumer Phase
Once the product has reached the consumer store the goal is to reduce the amount of work needed to be done by the store’s employees and consumers. This is especially true in regards to the consumer, whom should only enjoy the benefits of EndChain. In order to avoid any training or possible employee error, employees should only have the simple task of scanning the code.
The EndChain system can run in the background of a point of sale device and will register the product as sold on the blockchain once the product has been scanned. As not each product within the store will have an EndChain QR code on it, the system will automatically differentiate the codes. The EndChain system will be able to instantly recognize if the code belongs to EndChain. If it is not recognized, it will automatically be entered to the legacy system.
Resale of Items
Reselling an item is inarguably a consumer’s right. Yet, these items are often highly discounted due to their unknown history and origin. Items that can be verified as authentic reduce uncertainty and make a safer environment for second hand goods. EndChain will facilitate a structure in order to ensure the authenticity of second hand goods. In order to enable this, users will be able to scan the QR code located on the product. When a user scans the QR code, a simple green checkmark or red “X” will appear to visually show buyers whether the item is authentic or not.
Keeping a simple structure will allow users, who are unfamiliar with blockchain technology, to easily determine the authenticity of a product. If the item has been scanned at the store and registered as sold, the blockchain will then open up to allow consumer info to be typed. Thus when the item is sold, the app will ask the consumer if they would like to register their product under their name.
Entering your name into the blockchain will be an optional, yet useful feature for resellers. By entering your name into the blockchain, the item can verifiably be linked to the reseller. When the reseller decides to sell the item, an extra layer of security is added for the potential buyer. The new buyer will be able to see the name of the reseller on the chain, allowing them to match it to the current seller, thus giving the new buyer an extra layer of security. AI will be used to detect abnormal behavior to avoid frequent name changes associated with people attempting to copy the QR code.
Final Step View
My Conclusion
There are so many logistics ICO that offers a valuable idea and service to everyone but I would prefer EndChain than any other logistics ICO because this is the long awaited answer to every logistics issue that could solve its problem. I really like the idea and its function and also it has a very awesome description of the transactions. This would surely be a great ICO to invest with you can check their whitepaper and you would surely be clarified if what is the real intentions and plan of this project ! So I recommend you to take part of this awesome project and see the good thing that will come back to you this coming 2019 ! ^_^IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT JUST SIMPLY CHECK OUT THESE LINKS BELOW:
