Meet our first service robot, Yanu. Yanu is an autonomous robotic bartending unit that sells and serves drinks.

At the beginning of 2016, RoboLab was the founder of a group of entrepreneurs with a background in entertainment and investment. We immediately brought a group of top scientists onboard to create new opportunities for the service and entertainment industries by leveraging newly available robotic technologies and state-of-the-art software solutions. RoboLab has teamed with two universities to develop the current robotic bartending unit: Tallinn University of Technology has developed the first teaching solution, and the University of Tartu as our main partner is building the machines today. Tartu University is listed as Worlds 314-in the ARWU list of top universities in the world and similar position (301-350) in Times Higher Education Ranking. Our company currently has a team of 15 employees, backed by five excellent consultants who meet monthly to review and consult on progress.
Robolab designs, manufactures, sells and operates robotic service units. There are a variety of areas where automation takes place. However, we decided to focus on Hospitality and Entertainment. Our first units are fully autonomous bartending units, called Yanu, which can be deployed in public places such as nightclubs or bars, restaurants, cruise ships, hotels, festivals and all crowded venues. We sell low-cost service robots for the hospitality and entertainment industry. Our first solution can automate the mixing and mixing of beverages while acting as a standalone business unit. The unit effectively replaces classic, man-powered bar facilities and helps companies overcome work-related bottlenecks. Yanu lowers labor costs as it does not require full-time workers and only routine maintenance
We sell low-cost service robots for the hospitality and entertainment industry.
Our first solution can automate the mixing and mixing of beverages while acting as a standalone business unit. The unit very effectively replaces the classic man-powered bar and helps companies overcome work-related bottlenecks. It lowers labor costs, as it requires only routine maintenance, not full-time employees, generates 10-15% less material loss, as it provides a more controlled supply process, eliminates the risk of mistakes or theft and increases productivity, replacing up to four full-time employees.
We can sell and rent units to customers and operate our own units in rented rooms around the world, starting in the EU. Consequently, the cash flow increases from the sale of units, the maintenance of units and the sale of services and goods. We sell directly, and we prefer direct customer relationships rather than using an intermediary so that we can maintain a close relationship with our clients.
All units are assembled with components from large companies and proven technologies. Although innovation is required every step of the way, we are supported by the general increase in base technologies (ie sensors, cameras, AI). Our state-of-the-art engineers guarantee quality and an outstanding product that does not yet have many competitors in the market.
A few words about Estonia: It produces more successful startups per capita than any other country in Europe. We have one of the most favorable rules and most liberal tax systems in the world, with no corporate tax. It also attracts a lot of investment - Estonia is the second largest in Europe after the UK has invested in new investments in startups per capita through new alternative financing solutions and is predicted to be among the top 3 in the world. In the June 2018 Price Waterhouse report, Estonia is the fourth largest in the world in terms of the number of closed and planned Ico's and considers the financing volume to be 7. "Estonia has 1.3 million inhabitants and we have 4 unicorns small countries with 4 unicorns more, "says Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid.
The new Yanu prototype will be ready by the end of 2018 and ready for production and the first demo bars in 2019, so very soon. As Robolab's CEO Alan Adojaan says, "The Yanu Bartending Robot is a first modest step that helps the service industry improve its work in every aspect of the business, and I believe that AI and robotics will soon be a revolution in
